How to sign up for The Method of Madness:
Before I get into the recap, with The Method of Madness starting with next Saturday's card, the deadline to sign up for the game is 11:59PM Friday Night/Saturday Morning. Here's what you need to do to sign up.
1. Partner 1 goes to the "sign up tab" above, and selects "sign up for the Method of Madness".
2. Partner 1 creates a Team Name and sends an invitation to partner 2.
3. Partner 2 goes to the "sign up tab" above, selects "sign up for the Method of Madness", and accepts the invitation.

Main Contest:
Our first card is in the books, and with 3 upsets on the 4 fight main card, scores were all over the board. Congratulations go out to Metro-1 for taking the overall lead in the contest. For being the top scorer for the week, he also wins some great gear from LTD Apparel! He blazed a path to victory by getting a perfect score on Bisping/Belfort, Dolloway/Sarafian, and Gonzaga/Rothwell. He also correctly predicted the winner for the other main card fight and the "hot fight". He took advantage of the fights that count the most, and that's why he's the big winner of the week!
The Battle for Bloodshed:
Congratulations to MMA_Smartass for winning UFC on FX 7's Battle for Bloodshed! With scores low due to upsets, it was a three man race between MMA_Smartass, CeeKay610 and Thapa, as they were the only three not to include a "winner" in their team. MMA_Smartass's team of losers (Martins, Bisping, Rothwell, Keith, Craig) edged out CeeKey610's team (Martins, Bisping, Nunes, Tavares, and Nobre). The big difference was Smartass's decision to put heavy betting favorite Ben Rothwell in the 3rd spot, scoring the valuable points he needed to achieve victory. For his efforts, he wins a t-shirt from Shosen Apparel!
The Bracket Brawl:
Due to a technical glitch, the Bracket Brawl results will not be posted until tomorrow. However, we had a few firsts this week. The lowest scoring member for UFC on FX won his Bracket Brawl matchup! Talk about luck of hte draw! Additionally, for the first time ever we had two people facing each other fail to submit picks. As a result, they are both eliminated, and there will be a bye in the second round. An auspicious start to this season's Bracket Brawl for sure!

A couple more quick notes.
1. UFC on Fox 6 is NEXT SATURDAY, and the card is up and ready to be voted on! The deadline to submit picks is 4PM Eastern Standard Time!
2. If you are not receiving reminder emails from us, please check your spam folder. At the bare minimum gmail has decided to flag our email address as spam. Please mark us as "non spam" so you will continue to get our reminder emails and important announcements.
3. If you are still not receiving our emails, go to your user profile and make sure the email address that is listed is one that you check regularly. If it isn't, you can update it accordingly.
