The FFFL is closing it's doors at the end of the season - almost.
Hey guys. After a good amount of deliberation, I have decided to close the FFFL as a "business" at the end of this season. As most of you know, I have been missing in action due to me taking the bar exam. As a result, it has allowed me to put life into a better perspective. I love running this league, and I truly believe we've built the best one on the internet. However, from a financial perspective, it's just not simply worth all of the things in life that I have to give up to continue to run this and recruit on a daily basis.
What we've decided to do is to turn this into more of a traditional fantasy league. We will run one 3 month season a year. We will probably do it from April 1st to June 30th every year. This way, it doesn't interfere with 1) fantasy football, 2) Summer, and 3) the holidays.
There are far too many people to thank, so let me just thank everyone for making this a wonderful experience. Onto the recap!
Recap:
Weekly Main Contest and Battle for Bloodshed:
UFC on Fuel 8 was all JCalitz all the time. For the first time in the history of the FFFL, he won both the individual weekly main contest and the Battle for Bloodshed! What a huge week for him!
One card left in the season - huge shakeup at the top of the leaderboard!
With a big score at UFC on Fuel 8, Metro-1 has re-taken the lead with one event to go! He's only up 4 points over TheIceman0610, so it's still anybody's game!
The Bracket Brawl:
UFC on Fuel 8 marked leg 1 of 2 for the finals between TheIceman0610 and JCalitz. JCalitz has taken a big lead, 46-29. Both guys have guaranteed themselves a prize from Brawler Boards!
The Method of Madness:
With a big week, the defending champions Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu What have taken over the lead! Can they hold it with just one week to go? We'll find out!
Thanks again guys, can't wait for the end of the season!
